Hello all
Have a problem..
Took my Seat Toledo 1.6 (manual) to work today...approx 20 mins into my journey, the car started holding back in 1st, 2nd, etc not allowing me to pick up too much speed. It kept spluttering like it would stall but it didn't. Engine light then came on. Luckily, i was able to park up and i think the safest thing to do is put it on vagcom...
I went back later this evening, and the car started fine, and drove with no problems, however the engine light was still on..I didn't drive it for longer than 5 mins..
Dunno if this sounds familiar to any other problems people have had...Could this be related to the coil plugs/ maf issues do you think? Would the engine light come on in these circumstances? Also, can i take the car to a VW specialist? I'd imagine they use the same machine...
