Water getting into the floor pan on the drivers side when it rains - not from surface water off the road. Garage have replaced a dodgy windscreen but this has not helped. With hindsight seems to go back to new wipers etc fitted at the end of the summer - water is not somehow draining properly now, but garage cant seem to locate problem. Anybody had a similar problem and got some advice?

Most cause of cabin water ingress is because of blocked scuttle drains! are you sure its just the drivers side that getting wet? check the storage bins under the seats? depending on the age/spec of your car you may have a few expensive electrical control boxes under water!
if you have the later model? IIRC there is a plastic trim/shroud around the lower edge of the screen/wiper mech? this clips into holes in the body? IIRC others have reported that water can/does make it's way through these mounting holes and into the cabin! a good dose of silicon sealer in the offending areas can stop the leaks!
