Hey guys,

just wondering if the chrome grille (as featured on the Leon pics on the main page) is available for the Ibiza. If so, can you get it with the honeycomb design?

Any info much appreciated.

Cheers,
Meeko

I don't know the answer i'm afraid, but just a note to say that the chrome grille may belong to a NeilP, but it's not me.

Perhaps it's Neil Patison?

So that's that cleared up.

I've got the chrome grill on my Cupra, I specified it as an extra when I bought it for about £25... I think that it looks great, very BMW. It's an offical accessory and am surprised that so few people have got it fitted.

Quite a lot of dealerships do not offer ANY options with the Cupra when you buy then which would be the reason for not many people having any options.

when I bought mine they just wanted me to sign on the dotted line and charge me a fortune to have a multichanger fitted in the boot.
I skinned them down on the price of the changer eventually but still paid more than I would have done if I had bought it from a separate shop and known how to fit it myself (but I didn't).

Sweetchuck: what colour is your beeza?

I have seen a red one around my area that has the chrome grille and it looks 'ok'. I have seen a fair few NON cupra beeza's (1.6 sports) that have had them put on to make them look a little different as they don't have the honeycomb. I personally think my car would look pretty daft with one on as I have a black cupra, and the full blackness of the car is what makes it look 'stealthy' which worries people when they see me in their rear view mirror's (including Boxster drivers - see another thread).
If anyone has got it put on their black cupra then let me know and get a pic of how it looks, and I will possibly think about getting it done!?

I will however be putting all 'mods' on hold for a couple of months which is as an arse, but my old uni buddies and I have just decided to go snowboarding in january, so any changes will just have to wait. heh.

If anyone has a pic of a cupra with the chrome grille on then post em up on here so we can see and make decisions... :)
