1996 Toledo 2.0 16V again...
I've checked my Haynes manual and it seems that my plugs are overheating. This could be the cause of my misfire problem I'm thinking...
Overheating - Electrodes have glazed appearance, core nose very white - few deposits.
Fault: plug overheating.
Check: plug value, ignition timing, fuel octane rating (too weak) and fuel mixture (too weak).
Plug value has been checked!
Fuel octane - I could try that Super Unleaded next time I fill up?
Fuel mixture - ECU?
Ignition timing - ECU again?
Does anyone know if the timing can be adjusted or if its an ECU thing like the mixture?
Thanks
