Sony MP3 Player and Leon Aura?

After much reading and confusion I think I have figure out what I want to put in my Leon.

I looked in halfords the other day and read LOADS on this forum about using 'connects 2' leads with sony cd changers controlled via the standard aura leon head unit.

My question is this: Will the Sony CDX-T70MX (6 Disc CD Changer With MP3 Playback) work via my aura with the appropriate connects 2 lead?

Also does anyone know how it would work as obviously the changer is mainly designed to be used with sony head units? How do these MP3 changers operate, do they look over the whole data cd for all the mp3 files in directories??? Won't my aura head unit get a little confuzzled??

Any help would be very welcome as I might spank a load of cash on one at the motor show this week :D

No this doesnt require an MP3 head unit. The idea is to use the existing Aura head unit that came with the leon with a sony MP3 changer. After reading a bit more i believe the way tracks are selected on the aura is the same as if the changer did just regular CDs. The problem is that when you have a CD with loads of Mp3s it will not destinguish between them so one CD could have 100 tracks?!?!.

I haven't as yet bought this set up as I am now thinking a dedicated Head unit will do the trick. I was hoping for a setup that i could keep the Aura head unit in and use Mp3s.

I'm thinking much the same for mine - i have a single cd mp3 unit in my Rover *shudder* which isn't quite enough for me - 6 cd's... well thats better :) I guess the con of the changer-replacement-only route is the lack of navigation via the aura - i mean, i doubt it'll allow you to navigate directory-by-directory. Although all i really want is random play from all six cd's!
I guess one way to do it is to buy the changer replacement, use it with the aura, and then upgrade the head unit later if it's annoying you...
