Interesting article on "new" version of the 1.8T with 190hp. Sounds like a detuned S3 engine to me.....

Twin intercooler 1.8T... definately a low BHP cupra'R' (smaller K03 turbo perhaps) or (as you said) just a de-tweeked ECU for greater fuel efficiency?
At a starting cost of 28,600 Euro's, that aint doing the Leon any harm is it. Especially if it's likely to cost a bundle load more over here!!!
