Does anybody know if by simply replacing the injectors with ones with a greater flow rating will result in more fuel entering the enginee? That is, without modifying the fuel pressure or the opening sequence.

Best to canvass more expert opinion, but IMO the short answer is no. Amount of fuel that goes in is determined by fuel pump/regulator and ECU. Larger injectors will let you get more fuel in but on their own won't gain you much. If you do extensive mods you may need larger fuel injectors to allow more fuel to pass through, why don't you just stick on a set of throttle bodies?

A 4bar FPR instead of the stock 3bar is a lot more simplier mod! It is not recommended on K03-s though.

you'll get more in that way but

you'll need more pressure in the line and a greater flow rate

add to the fact the engine won't be expecting that much you COULD end up just flooding it :(:(:(

more power is gained by more fuel/air IN and OUT quicker but in EXACT quantiities @ the correct ratio - albeit with a margin for improvement

simply runnin a higher octane fuel makes as much difference

try optimax BUT with first habd experience Elf Race fuel (i stole a 25L can off the megane RAC rally team last year ;) ) comes VERY HIGHLY RECCOMENDED

comes in unleaded upto 100 octane i think

i dunno wot the megane kit car was using but DAMN it aint no ordinary juice had to be one of these

big RON numbers there and you all know wot 95 to 98 ron optimax does ;)

don't run out abd get it - remember you are dealing with chemical reaction here - i ran the elf fuel in a grasstracker (to test it of course) and can say YES YES YES it mde a hell of a difference BUT i was rebuilding 3 times a year (no fault , just blueprinting)

GOOD LUCK

anyone wanna hire a 20VT for me to borrow ? :):):)

Cheers guys, Dont worry I wasn't planning on just adding more fuel for no reason... So in theory if you can trick the ecu that you are generating less boost than you are (more than standard), and you increase the fueling through an uprated FPR then you would expect some gains ??? Just how smart is the ecu...??...
