I want to replace my alana headunit on the mk4 ibiza, but when i went to fit my sony headunit it didnt sit flush and didnt lock into place, im guessing im not the only one to suffer from the problem due to the shape of the dash, im just wondering if anyone has got a suitable replacement headunit (£250 max)which fits perfectly?

i found that the cables at the back need sorting out and moving around to allow the head unit to fully slide in its a real pain ive cut most of the carride at the back
also fits better and the bottom as there is more room to move the cables!

you can swap the radio and cubby hole around just need to flip the cubby hole upside down and it fits perfect

Push and hold number 6 - think thats repeat track! It als has shuffle and other fuctions like that - it's amazing what you find out by reading the manual!

take the top out of the glovebox ( about 4 or 5 torx screws ) and then you can pull the wires back from behind the HU. Then they fit easy :D
