To be honest he didnt know he was having his picture taken! The original picture was of him beside a massive oak tree because he looked like a matchbox car next to it. We still have my old Arosa 16v Sport (02). It's a great car to drive on the road and on track. Flash red with the SEAT Sport rear spoiler and a SCN sticker :)

I have a R reg 1998 Seat Arosa Automatic . 1.4 .Red with black trim.
I have had it for 12 months now and love the car .

Mods: Becker Grand Prix 7992 headunit, which has Bluetooth handsfree + iPod connection - amazing!!

+ genuine Audi TT aluminium pedal covers + aluminium door lock pins

+ interior fitted with ICELED - www.iceled.co.uk (a quality LED lighting system, unlike the crappy ones boy racers own!)

Everything designed to be suttle yet effective - nothing looks out of place. The great thing about ICELED is that I have used it to install two boot lights, something which the Arosa is seriously lacking! My next mission is to link it up to a boot contact switch and/or my door contact switch.

Will aim to get some photos up on here sometime soon.

Hello :)

I can answer a few of those questions for you:

Alloys - anything up to 15" will fit no problem, 16" needs a little arch work, and 17s are the biggest and need alot of work. Plus with a 1.0 you'll never get anywhere :lol:

Lowering - it all depends on what comfort you want, where you drive and how practical you need to be. Lowering springs and shocks will give you a height drop but still stay prety comfortable. Coilovers will give you height adjustment to set it at the perfect level for you, but give a much harder ride.

Rear spoilers - you can get one from SEAT, or VW for a Lupo, or just search on Google and see if you can find one you like.

Pictures - get an account with someone like www.photobucket.com (its free), then follow the signs to upload a photo, and copy the [ IMG ] code to post them in a thread

Only gonna do a few little mods this year, wheels, suspension, rear lights. Needs a cambelt change at the end of the month though :(

Longterm: A trip to Allards to drop a 1.9 tdi engine and 6 speed box in, along with a hybrid turbo and injectors :whistle: 250 bhp and 350 ftlb torque :D

A forced air induction kit which my chap made specially!
Stereo wise I have Pioneer 6" mids and tweets, a Kicker Solobaric and a Pioneer headunit

Hello Katie :D Your car looks gorgeous !!! The inside door 'grab' Hnadle type thingies are £22 each for the handles and £6 each for the covers that hide the screws, I have ordered some new ones for mine from Seat. Take a little while for them to come through as I have been waiting 2 weeks now.

Nice first car, I think you made the right choice buying an arosa over a punto. I learned to drive in a punto and I didnt really think much of the car. It kind of put me off them as one of the reasons i went with that instructor was because i liked the car :lol:

I'm Lynda and live near Portsmouth. My Arosa's a 1999 a.4Mpi automatic and I've always had a great time with him. He's called Pedro (after Pedro de la Rosa the Spanish F1 driver) !!! I've had him 7 years. I chose an Arosa as I wanted a model where the seats properly fold flat and there weren't many around in 2000 !!
