VW Changer Unit - Fit A3?

My mates A3 dash is almost identical to my LCR's. He had a standard tape deck in it but I was wondering if it would copnnect to the CD changer from my LCR? I put in a Pioneer with MP3 fit so don't need it.

I'm sure with the correct wiring it would. Check the back of your old Leon HU and the back of the A3 HU and see if the changer plug on th eHU side is the same shape.
