View Full Version : Schematics for Aura radio
Does anyone have or know where I can get the schematics for the Aura radio. My soon to be Toledo :D comes with the radio factory stock, I've already heard the radio on a demo at my dealer. Sounded pretty good, but was looking to add an amp and sub. I was wondering if there are RCA jacks on the radio? Output wattage? etc.?
Thanks,
Paulo
No there are no RCA outputs on the AURA headunit. The only way you could connect an amp is by wiring thru the speaker terminals which is dodgy to be honest.
To get a proper AMP connected to do it properly you'll have to change the headunit to an aftermarket one.
The Toledo/Leon is a single DIN slot so accepts normal size headunits but you'll need a blanking facia kit so it doesnt look untidy.
Autoleads do one for it http://www.autoleads.co.uk
not sure whether they export or if you can find a reseller close to you.
Ive done this to my Leon and replaced my AURA with an Alpine Headunit, and installed a Focal PolyKevlar Sub 500W RMS and Dragster Amplifier. :)
Halfords stock the Autoleads fasia panel (£10.99) and the various adapter leads needed to install a third party headunit.
They do not keep them in the store for the Seat Leon / Toledo but will order them in for you with delivery in 48 hours (according to their catalog).
