I presume you got your chip from southham????? does it make the fuel consumption go thru the floor mate??? just wondering cos i want mine chipped, but i dont want to pay for the staff holiday to barbados at the local shell garage.....

Steve, i've had the chip for 11 months now and use both normal and chipped mode. Fuel consumption comes down to driving style. If you drive the same the figures are the same. It's just that much more difficult to resist planting your right foot and feeling all that extra torque force you back in your seat :D
I've kept a full record of fuel consumption from new and the average fuel consumption since chipping is the same as it was before.

I had mine chipped at APR in Daventry btw.
