Panel Filter for V5

Morning all.

I've seen from some recent posts, that some of you have changed your air filters for either k&n or jetex (panel).

Being a bit of a novice "under the bonnet", I'm looking for any advise / suggestions to help me select the correct filter.

I've got a V5 150BHP.

Morning Scott,

I have a K&N panel filter fitted. It's a Mk4 Golf model, which as it's the same engine drops straight in. My filter also came with a foam seal which you fit round the top of the air filter housing to ensure a complete air tight seal. Total fitting time 20 mins. Time to remove and re-install should you wish to for servicing 5 mins. K&N guarantee for 100K miles.

From what Chris says Jetex do a panel filter which is explicitly for the Toledo (but would of course fit a Mk4 Golf), for around the same price. Not sure if this comes with a foam seal also.
