Any one interested in sharing costs of a 4 x 5lt pack [min pack size] of Diesel sport 4 fuel additive in the SW??
Believe costs are around £240.00 plus VAT which works out at £11.98 plus VAT per ltr.
Unless SEATCUPRA.NET can strike up a deal??. ..........................
JUST PLACED MY ORDER To with www.fasteronline.co.uk !!!!!!!!!!!

Go to the Millers web site, find a local stockest by post code and find 3 other like mined chaps - or purchase the 500ml at that local stockest. Found that my local stockest was not prepared to order the 500ml because of the extra cost hike though

Already got some and i have to say it is very good.
I always reset the trip computer after every refil and i drive the car in the same manner as i would normally. 80mph (with the odd burst of speed) on motorways and always on or slightly above the legal limit elsewhere, often driving it hard.
I found i acheived 150+miles before my needle left the full mark instead of the usual 120ish and my dash now reads......

Millers diesel sport 4 fuel additive, not oil.
sri, only seeing that on the top post now. what way would it affect warranty on its use?

Not sure mate. But how does BP Ultimate apply to the warranty over a non additive fuel?
I expect it would be tricky to pin any problems on this stuff going off how little you put in the tank, but then again i can't see any reason to worry as i've ran my car on Millers additives since day one. No probs yet.
have used bp ultimate and it is good, had no thoughts on it even effecting warranty as it is a registered high quality fuel. what does the additive do, know of some that boost octane, clenser etc......

It boosts the CETANE rating by about 4 - 5 points [which is simlar to petrol Octaine ratings 95 - 100 etc.] and no doubt there atre other "improvers" in the mix too
that is ok, add bit of performance, prob depends on factors, fuel as covered in another thread. also asked in another thread about the wherebouts of a stockest in N.ireland (Co.Armagh/Newry/Dundalk Areas?)

From reading the posts in the TDI forum, it would appear that buying a 5ltr bottle from fasteronline is just as cheap. £59 for 5 ltrs including p&p. Which is a equivalent to a smidge under £6 per 500ml bottle.
Muddyboots, just orderd the 5ltr half hour ago!so heres hoping its as good as everyone says. goin splits with the father so try it out.

Guys I spoke with one of Millers managegemt staff today at the Autosport show. He is willing to give us a special show price for forum members. Additionally, he will also through in an empty 500ml Millers container to decant from the 5ltr container. I'm expecting an email with a delivered price within the next three days. I'm aware of what we can get it for from Faster Online, so I 'll expect it to be cheaper. I'll post details asap.
Sounds great, was the show any good?
how can 1ml of this stuff make such a difference to 1000ml of diesel?
I dont really know much about anything to do with cars but 1ml increasing the cetane rating by 5 seems quite steep.
Is it really that good?
If i put 1ml of robinsons diluting juice into 1000ml of water, well it would just taste like water......
I always double dose.
So that would be 1 ml of Robinsons in 500ml of water.... mmmm taste the fruit and barley :D

Your probably right. Millers must have got it wrong and wasted a load of time researching and producing a product on the basis of diluted squash :censored:
Fuel and water are two very different liquids. One burns, the other puts out fires...... so adding a small amount of something to one might just possibly have a different end result when compared to another:p
Any news?

After two emails and questioning the delivered cost, it would be cheaper to go the route that others have for the 5ltr. I was given 20% off, but it was still £4 more expensive. I may just go the small bottle route as I think that will cover me for quite a while.
If you live in Glasgow, there is a Millers Oil depot in Hillington handily just where I work!!
500ml bottle £8.42 + VAT :p
