I can just about get mine composed with the kit lens (18-55) with the tripod on the back seats in the ibiza :) You weight the tripod down at all?

oh man see the challenge of getting the camera set up right LOL! i had it focused on the dash , with a 30sec exposure and outside was just white , then i slowly had to bring it down to 6/8secs at ISO 100 F4 ( i think) and then i couldnt find my remote trigger for the camera so i stuffed my wee bro in the back of the car to trigger the camera

heres what i done with the tripod to mount it in the car , only mods to the car were to remove the rear headrest and to winde the passenger seat all the way back so it was as far as it would go down
this is how i set the tripod up
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v503/jester140/incar%20shots/asawhole.jpg
it had the two legs that were agains the back of the seat were tight against the back of the seat and the bottom of each leg ajusted to they were tight into the corners

and the top of the tripod had the point of view like this

I have to have mine on the back seat at the moment as i havnt got round to getting a remote shutter release so i use the self timer and just reach around and hit the shutter. Possibly going to use ratchet straps to keep everything sturdy as my car is pretty low and harsh so the chances of getting vibrations through the camera are pretty high.
Good effort though, you definatly ended up with good results :)

the view outside the car is blured cause the pictures were taken while the car was moving with a long shutter speed mate
