Alright chaps,
After wrapping my 200sx round a fence I am after some advice on my new Toledo 1.9 beast
I have done a weeks work to get it sorted but I am no 'Leccie
(presume it is electrical?)
Temp guage is knackered, or appears knackered, doesn't move at all
Fuse?
Please help gurus
And thanks Mork for your help registering
The thermostat might be knackered.
Can the temp guage be tested on VAG-COM? (VW diagnostic software) If so, I'd try that first.
welcome to the site mate.
good choice of car. hope you get it sorted!

if the thermostat was broken then the car would be overheating left right and centre. Check the fuses in all the fuseboxes. or it should tell you in the manual which does which. other than that you could have a broken temp sensor in the engine. or wiring problems. hope this helps.
what about the temperature sender? i changed mine because my guage was going up and down like a yoyo and their was nothing wrong with the running of the car....

Check stickys 1 & 4 in the guide section. I think they are as close as you will get, although the Erwin guides you have to pay a small fee to get the full info. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=91
