There is not a SEAT mag apart from the official SEAT Newspaper which you can probably pick up from your local dealer.

There is a VW Mag, not sure if SEAT's feature in them in any way.

Being an old git I get CCC, and occasionally Performance VW and The Golf. From the US I get European Car and Turbo Performance magazine.
I don't go near Max P or the others..... (must be my age! I think they are total crap) :)

Knowing some of the VW mags, having had the Jetta in them several times, I am pushing for more Seat coverage from them, especially as I now have a reasonably fast one.
Like you say its a VW(VAG) underneath.

badly............while i'm on the subject Mark i want a very good set of componants and some very good back speakers..........can you recommend some please with prices and model numbers........

also what subs are good and what amps.

ZBOYD

Are we talking the dogs components :D To be honest if you want back speakers too, your better going a for 2 sets of components rather than say components in the front and 6x9's on the back, but its all about cost and choice.

Lower end of the components market have to be Kenwoods really, the Dual mags are excellent, Saul's just bought some for his.

As for up the high end take your pick, im going for Focals to match my Sub, but Diamond are fantastic components, but pricey expect to pay over £350 for the set. We can chat more about it on Friday, i'll get some info together for different kit with model numbers etc.

Subs, id now say Rockford are being classed as a more budget sub in comparison to other makes nowadays. JL Audio like in Petes are superb, as are Focal like mine, But Diamond again do some superb stuff and very flashy with Chrome etc, really look the part.

Why do you want rears? You really shouldn't need them if you have a good set of Comps up front. Diamond or JL should do you perfectly for both Comps and Subs. I only got JL in the end because they were a bit cheaper and I didn't have the cash. It all comes down to the look. JL don't look flash, Diamond do... Sound wise they are probably not that far apart. As for amps JL are popular at the mo but they have thier faults. Again personal choice is Genesis EVERY time. Mail me if you want models/prices.

I tend to agree with Pete, i think having rears in a small car like the Ibiza wont really benefit it that much especially if your wanting a sub too.

As pete says a nice and powerful set of components in the doors would work well enough.

In the Leon its a different matter cause ive got 4 solid doors with which to play :D

Unfortunatly means i need to spend twice as much.

Otherwise if your serious about ICE, then the best thing you could possibly do is have somewhere like SQ make you some kick ass door builds, but have a blank cheque ready :p

Tell you what Pete you need to get down to the Car Audio Discount store, where me Saul and Mike and our Rick were on Saturday.

He's got some Lanzar amps, not a well known name granted, but the amps are awesome and the price is superb, 1200 watt Power Amps from £150 :D

Fans, and nice shiny cases the lot :)

Only buy Evo regularly now, Rally XS, CCC sometimes, Autocar on occasion and Revs rarely if there is something of interest although its pretty cack nowadays.
The others are even worse, Redline used to be OK but has gone down the toilet.
I look forward to seeing Max Power's hideous interpretation of how they can **** up an Ibiza Cupra and create something that can't be driven anywhere fast but looks good (in their opinion not mine) parked up in a show.

Horses for courses though. :)
