I have an Ibiza Cupra 2.0 8v GTi and was wondering if anybody knows how I can reset my service indicator? The car has been serviced, but not at a Seat dealer, so they didn't know how to reset it. I have asked at a Seat dealer, but they didn't seem to want to tell me, making out it was something only they could do, but they would tell you that, wouldn't they? Thanks.

I had the same with mine, although it was actually the Seat dealer who forgot to reset it! I found out how to do it myself in a haynes manual...

Use the minute (bottom) clock button, and the trip reset button:

Turn on the ignition and set the mileage display to total mileage rather than trip. Press and hold the trip reset button, turn off the ignition and release the button. 'OEL' should appear in the display. Use the same button to cycle through the different service intervals and press the minute button to clear each one. Job done!
