View Full Version : Motorbase take first step to BTCC success with Howell signing

Leading saloon car racer Gareth Howell has joined Kent's Motorbase Performance team to have a full crack at the highest honour in UK motorsport, the 2007 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

The 26-year-old won two races in the 2006 series and recorded one win the year before in truncated challenges with Team Halfords and his victorious efforts helped the outfit take the teams titles in both seasons.

You can't see much in that article but not sure about the colour scheme of the car.
Perhaps it will have changed by the start of the season.

they've not really released any of the 'wide' shots of the car, but I'll try another contact to see what they have

Ive just found out the company ive recently started working for sponsors Gareth Howell and Matt Allisons cars.

Where's dodington then, is that a new circuit. :p You might have better luck if you put Donington Park in your sat nav, but don't bother until July. :)
