View Full Version : My Mk3 Ibiza Cupra
Just thought i'd post some pics as i've never had.
Engine bay isnt quite finished yet, not far off, needs a good clean and put my washer tank bottle cover back on along with some painted parts.
Comments welcome. :D

Nice example there Phil. Obviously proud of your engine bay. Are you running spacers on the rear? If so how big are they? I've got superleggeras on mine and want to get some rear spacers as they don't fill the rear arches quite how i'd like them too.
I like the way you've positioned your boost gauge too.
That looks stunning mate! Always had a soft spot for that style of Ibiza and that's one of my favourite examples :)
Thanks people. :D
I'm running 15mm spacers, with FK silverline coilovers.

Looks superb Phil. The engine bay looks awesome and nice shot the dials.
looks really nice phil, you can see how much effort has gone into that engine bay. Where did you get your front and rear polished strut braces from?
Thanks again people.
Front strut brace is OEM seat/momo one thats been chrome plated and the rear is from RAID for a 6N polo which i got on ebay. Theres some mk1 rear ones the same as mine on ebay at the moment.

looks fantastic phil!!! really like the engine bay......bet it cost you a small fortune to get it like that huh?
It was cheap, but i have been gettin bargains, i got a spare rocker and manifold on ebay, samcos are from samco direct as i know a lot of people who work there and i';ve had some custome bits from them, difficult to see but theres part of a golf coolant kit, superflex hoses, straights, reducers etc... to replace 90% of the OEM rubber parts.
Some of the stuff can be done for free tho, like ditching parts and just general tidying up.

Loving the way you have kept the mesh on the second picture, is that easy to do? I willbe going to forge to get one fitted at the end of the month, can they leave the mesh in?? Really dont want to take it out! Stealth all the way ;)
I put the mesh in aftewards, its a plastic jobbie from Halfords, about 20 quid for the sheet, perfect size as well.
Can i not keep the standard mesh then?? :(

Nope
Bugger. You got any pics of the exact mesh you used? Or how you did it, looks perfect with the mesh IMO
