Before my seat alhambra 1.8 V reg 1999, 20v petrol, went weird, the gears went all together, gear stick went slack, wouldnt go into any gear, i thought a rod cable had snapped, but i rang around a few garages and they said it was a common problem for the alhambra's Gear box mount bolt were the remote gear changing rods are attached to, to snap.
So car was running fine on lpg and petrol, before i took it to garage To get the bolt replaced, the garage said they replaced the bolt from inside the gear box.
But now my seat will start on petrol fine but wont rev over 12,000 revs. So i have to REV the car at 10,000 for about 6mins before it switches to LPG before i can drive it. Its a BRC Multipoint lpg system, it always starts on petrol, till its warm then automatically changes to LPG. If i put my foot down on accelerator it wont go higher than 12,000 and hunts, just revs high then low, but no higher than 12,000.. Any idea's why it does this.. Do you think, its because the battery has been off for a few hours. maybe the ecu needs reseting.

Also when i turn the ignition on theres a loud clicking noise coming from a small black box thingy attatched to the top of the engine by the throttle cable. It clicks for about 10seconds then goes off. while it clicks away the accelerator pedal vibrates. any idea's on how to fix this. havent had time to take to garage yet.. i can take a picture of the black box thingy if need be.
One more problem, ive forgot my code for my seat dynamic navigation system, ive entered the code wrong twice and now it says unit locked. How can i reset this... without taking the unit out of the car.
