hey guys just taught id fill ya all in.its been clarified for me 2day that the janspeed company that supply a lot of our performance exhausts(inc every twinner in ireland!!)have gone bust.now as far as i know whatever systems are in ireland already will prob double in price and there will be NO MORE deliverys to ireland.havent heard much bout the future of the company but i think you'll agree its a big lose to the maxing world.

I belive one of the BTCC teams that were working with them, GA Motorsport I belive, were looking into buying them out. Not sure if that is still planned.
from what i heard the GA Janspeed team in the touring cars
bled the company dry,seemingly GA were too demanding
on Janspeed and that led to bankruptcy
having said that bankruptcy is never the end,all the machine
tools and copyrights will be sold to pay its debts and new
companies who bought the above will start manufacturing
their exhausts and turbos

Not sure but there is janspeed custom exhaust system company in salisbury... are they the same thing... will find out soon as im going to get a bespoke exhaust
I think they were "born" out of the last Janspeed company

yes, Keith Odor had a fatal accident, in European Touring cars IIRC :(
1995 at the Avus circuit in Berlin in the German STW Cup in one of his usual Nissans. Needless to say the series never went back to there after that. :(
I was actually thinking earlier that I recall a conversation with Janspeed a year ago saying that they had gone bust a few years ago.
I take it they didn't learn from the previous time...
I went through 2 Janspeed exhausts on my Mk1 XR2 many moons ago - used to make a lovely sound but kept vibrating loose and the flange bit that joined the centre section to the manifold was always giving way.
