Flapper,
After reading the reviews of my local Seat dealers on the forum I intend to get my Leon Cupra serviced at Amethyst, (and possibly some mods, ie. Forge dump valve fitted).
Question 1: Company car is through Fleetlease of Newbury - if you do not have an account with them, can one be set up?
Question 2: I will be coming from Reading, Berkshire so will have to wait whilst you carry out the service - is this a problem?
I have only had the car 2 weeks so the first service is some time away, but I will feel much happier going to a dealer I can trust - peace of mind.
Bazzer ~ surely your 1st service is the 1000 mile oil change?
If you've had your car 2 weeks this can't be that far away? :confused:
I had intended to get the 'first service' (oil change etc.) carried out at local dealership (they musy be able to get that right!).
Just telephoned Emmer Green garage to arrange Fleetlease account set up and first service - was told 1000/2000 service optional, but they would not be interested in setting up an account unless a minimum of 5 seat's was being serviced at their garage through Fleetlease, also mentioned that the car was not purchased through them - is the car market so good as to treat potential customers this way?
My boss has told me to complain to Seat UK, which I fully intend to do.
I would be grateful if Flapper would let me know if Amethyst would be prepared to set up an account, if they do not already have one, whith Fleetlease.
Will have to travel from Reading, but well worth it if I don't have to deal with the non-interested prats at Emmer Green

i certainly believe fleetlease are already on our system although i will check to be sure
as for waiting not a problem we have a sofa area TV coffee power for laptops etc etc etc :p see : http://www.seatcupra.net/visit.shtm
mods not a problem if you have the time just call us to book in as it can be 2/3 days notice usually (town centre only 10min walk or we'll drop/collect you from town if you get bored of lookin at graham :D , gis a ring or mail amethyst@seatcupra.net and graham will check all our available time slots and accounts etc
ps first service is @ 12months/10,000 miles whichever is sooner , to be honest 1 or 2000 is @ owners discretion but we'll arrange whatever you need

Thanks for the reply, it's refreshing to deal with a company who puts customers first - nice change these days, it's a pity not all Seat dealerships offer the same service.
10,000 mile service will be in the new year so will contact Graham nearer the time regarding Fleetlease account and service/mods.
Sofa area sounds good, can catch up on some sleep if you don't mind the snoring! :o

graham reckons fleetlease account not a problem , just call us with a few days notice with your requirements and we will sort out any needs or dates/times etc you may have :)
