View Full Version : Clean & Clear - LCR Gone. FR Arrived.
Edit: LCR Now gone. See post 22 (http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1830788&postcount=22) for the new arrival.
First real chance of the new year to give the LCR a good clean and polish. To celebrate the fact thought I'd take a photo at a spot I've wanted to take a photo for a while, just never got round to it. It's only 2 mins from my house as well!
Images are large, 500kb each, and very similar, but the camera ran out of power!

yeah agreed........nice car and good pics
Very smart & nice.
What products did you use rllmuk?
We do say Red is the best........!
Hmmmm nice mate, have to say like red ... Ever thought of tints??
Cheers for the comments all.
I only used simple cleaning products, Turtle Wash & Wax Shampoo and some Supagard paintseal cream I bought ages ago to disguise the swirls the dealer had planted for me on a 'courtesy' wash (grrrrr).
I do want to get tints as well, my 'to-do' mod list is quite small but it's currently got:
Sub with Stealthboxz & amp & new HU (~£1000)
Revo Remap with SPS3 (~£800)
Aero Front Wipers (~£100)
Tints (~£300)
So they're last on the list, not a cheap selection above it either!
Looks really mean in the first pic. Definitely one of the best angles for photographing the LCR.
nice pics and i like the lcr in red looks sweet
I do like red LCR's, suits them very well :)
Lovely pics mate, no wonder you're pleased! :D

You're going for an FR then?
Aye, but only because of the mileage I've racked up.
Taking into account the 0% finance, the bargain price and the LCR age and mileage, the FR was the sensible option right now bearing in mind I'll keep it for at least the next three years.
I'm really looking forward to it but I'm still gutted, this car makes me smile each and every day I drive it, it's never let me down and the roads will be drying out shortly when the real fun starts. Arrrgghhhh.

Yeah, thats fair enoughs! :) New one should be just as much fun to drive. Enjoy!
First decent photo of the new car taken in a brief period of clam weather wise after washing for the first time:

I'm warming to it but slightly missing (what I think is) my old LCR (http://users.autoexposure.co.uk/classicdd.cfm?Account=AETA20649&VehicleID=AETV63256794).
Pic taken about a month back after the BBS alloys were fitted:

Still miss the LCR :(
Just put the BBS CKs back on the car after having a slight kerbing incident on ice (with all four wheels) back in Feb. I'm well happy with the slightly darker antracite :D

However at this angle, it does highlight lowering once again. Best get saving...
