After the slagging I gave Kinghams a while ago, it's nice to report something good about a dealer.
My Ibiza Cupra door lock was playing up so off I toddled to Sidlow to get it looked at. I rec'd a phone call after a couple of hours saying it was properly knackered and I'd need a new one. Unfortunately, they didn't have one in stock so ileft the car there overnight. Got slighty worried next day when I hadn't heard anything so I rang them. They then had the embarrassing task of informaing me that the wrong part had come it and it would have to wait another day. I blew my stack (i was having a bad day at work!) and demanded a loan car. They let me have a bog standard arosa (bit crappy). The next day i rec'd several phone calls keeping me updated on progress eventually i got my car back with it's new lock mechanism. This was where it all started to make me feel rather chuffed to own a Seat. By way of an apology for the delay and the slight cock up, they gave me a new remote key ( the old one was starting to play up a bit but i'm too tight to buy a new one). They also gave the car the best valet it's ever had and tightned up a few loose bits that they had noticed.
i have to say I was well impressed and it's going back in a couple of weeks for a proper service. This time i'm getting a Leon 1.8SE to play with.
Congrats Sidlow and esp. Trudi the service manager.
