*steals thread* :bleh: how much did that bumper mod cost you by the way cos it looks mint and i am thinking of something similar but with a slightly different bumper setup as my rear bumper is fooked anyways so need to replace it (dam old women in their shitty old fiesta's who win car parking ding wars!!) also is the exhaust mod easy/expensive?? cheers

It was done with a load of other work, so I'm not sure how much it would cost to do on it's own (+ the guy who did it has his own bodyshop and I've put a lot of work his way over the years)

It's pretty vunerable - some lad from work didn't brake in time one morning and did this -

Had to be ground back and re-skimmed 3-4 times to get a smooth finish again + paint (obviously)

The bodyshop billed me £500 ... and I added VAT to that before billing him :D

I had to sacrifice the boot floor to make room for it though - good job VW do a skinny 18" spare

Thank for that so it is just a tt bumper mod to fit cooooool but who made the pipes :)

It's a std 225 (twin exit) backbox

Part of the reason for just scrapping the whole wheel well was that when I went to a custom exhaust place, they reckoned - cos of where the std exhaust passes over the rear axle - that part of the boot floor was gonna have to be cut away anyway

+ they wanted £400+ for a custom exhaust :-o

So, back to the bodyshop ... power up the angle grinder and the mig welder and fit a £30 2nd hand TT exhaust off eBay



Keeping my eye out for a stainless one and gonna replace the rest of the system soon cos I'm dropping a 2.0 TFSI engine in the Toledo and the only standard bit of the exhaust will be the cat :p
