Anyone have any experience of this or had it fitted by AmD??

From what I understand it's a piggy-back type of chip. Would it not be better to have a custom remap after headwork and cams etc rather than one of these bolt-on Chipstars or are they sufficiently adaptive and 'tuneable' to be just as good?? I suppose it would need further visits to the RR if more bits were added to improve engine/breathing??

What sort of maps or gains can be expected with this?? Finally would you use Chipstar or remap a 2.0 16V??

Tony,

It was more of a 'was it worth it?' type question as opposed to a 'do they guarantee..'

I suppose what I really want to know is, have you got it? would you recommend it? would you recommend it over a remap? did you get a good drive out of it?

Kind thing..
