What have most people done badge-wise with their cars? I don't really want loads of badges on the back, I was thinking about leaving maybe just the Cupra badge and getting rid of everything else.
Thoughts?

Yeah, could look nice.
Marc (aka 20VT) has a nice bronze Leon that is de-badged and Looks well.
On the other hand ZBOYDS blue Leon is fully badged, Cupra badges on the wings and Oettinger badges on the back and even on the doors if i remember rightly, take a look in the gallery.
Not seen one with just the Cupra badge, I know (dare I say it!) BMW M3's just have the 'M' badge on the back and look well nice!
I've been pondering this as well ...
I've tarted around with Lee's car and these are the 2 choices I've come down to ...
I'd quite like the total de-badge, for complete stealth, but I think the back maybe looks kinda weird without anything at all ...
Half-badged (http://www.insane.demon.co.uk/Cupra/14_basic.jpg)
Fully de-badged (http://www.insane.demon.co.uk/Cupra/14_debadged.jpg)
Hmmm... I still can't decide tho.. does this board have a vote feature ?????

Don't s'pose you've got a Cupra graphic you could whack on there have you? Just out of interest.
Cupra Logo and 20VT (http://www.insane.demon.co.uk/Cupra/14cupra20vt.jpg)
Cupra Logo Only (http://www.insane.demon.co.uk/Cupra/14cupra.jpg)
Quick and dirty pictures, but you get the idea ...

I actually like the Cupra R badge treatment
Mine is fully de badged,
these cars are far too nickable because of the engine they have got in them and i dont want mine going astray!,
I was even thinking of putting a 1.4 badge on the back to make it even less nickable!! (also attracts less attention from the police!)
our original demo was introduced to our local constabulary the day of its release by nearly takin off the front end of the new motorway patrol car
ps , customer drivin NOT ME
Blimey!!, not good, what did the police do/say about it?

Q. How do you get the badges off safely?
Just pull them off!!, they are only stuck on with double sided tape!,
Dont lever them off with anything though cos that will damage the bodywork, just pull very hard!
best way is to heat 'em up gently with a hair dryer.....softens the glue/sticky stuff and they should just lift off.

Spot on... This works a treat.
Hair dryer and off they come, leaving minimal goop

Had a play tonight and I've pretty much completely de-badged the bugger. Just got my 20VT badge on there at the moment which may or may not stay, depending on how I feel in a couple of days. :p
Since all of you seem to de-badge their Leons I might be lucky in here:
I just got a Cupra4 an i'm desperately looking for another "4" badge. I got it from the dealer with one "4" on the back and one on the driver's door.
For me this makes one on the other side missing! So if one of you has got a spare one i'd be glad to get in contact!
Thanks!

your having a laugh:D
99% of us in here can't get hold of a Cupra 4, never mind having a spare badge!!
You lucky bugger!!
It makes me:sick:
Sorry fellow, I didn't know that it's that hard to get hold of one. Over here there are plenty on the market, most of them in yellow, but who cares as long as it's a Cupra4....

And what is so bad about Yellow??!!
Unfortunately Seat won't make these cars in RHD:mad:
Otherwise I'm sure there would be plenty knocking about over here aswell.
Yellow is alright... but the cops tend to remember you easily...
So it has to be LHD! I've been living in London for nearly 2 years and covered around 20.000 miles with my LHD vehicle... apart from Mc Drive i haven't had any trouble...
Hmmm, I can see the potential fun in humiliating the SRi / GTI / rep-mobile ingrates with a 1.4-badged 20VT.
Edinburgh to Glasgow is particularly good fun as you will invariably come across some roadworks with the speed limit of 30.
Simply drop to the legal speed limit (as you would), watch the queue of infuriated anonymous Vectras and Focus(i?) driving chimpanzees with mobile phones grafted to their ears build up behind you and then when you see that lovely black and white sign telling you "all clear", move to the "slow lane", switch off TCS, drop to 2nd as soon and as you hear the tell-tale thrashing of a crap car coming along side you, unleash the beast and have a giggle to yourself.
I'm quite sad really
Anyone know where I could hold of such a badge?
