I got a call last week and was asked to 'sort' a car at short notice. Agreed to do so, and the car arrived with me on Monday night. Its been to a bodyshop, and they have managed to do this to it since the customer contacted me, so the 'sort it job' suddenly became a 'SORT IT' job...

Here is a taster of what the body shop has done:

and following a tester find the combo for correction sectio, this is where its going:

There has been many more hours put in since these pics, and the car has really moved on, full report once its finished, and has been put back together ready for its first 2007 car show!

Did they apply polish with 1200 grit wet and dry! As usual looks like you're doing your usual standard of work Iain :)

I **HATE* shiny black cars!! my black one isnt two years old yet and is COVERED in swirls in the light..:(

That looks a lot like a VW Pheaton I saw in a showroom a while back. It looked like it had been washed with a brillo pad

Utterly beautiful. I don't have many regrets in life, but selling my Mk1 Golf is right near the top of a short list.
