I would like to fit bigger brakes on my beezer cupra. I saw the Cupra R the other day and noticed that it had 4 pot calipers on the front and bigger discs. Does anybody make an aftermarket kit for my car which includes 4 pot calipers and bigger discs? How much would the Cupra R brake kit cost?

Did'nt someone say they thought cupra R calipers and disks were relatively inexpensive vs the ones mentioned above? Or were there lots of other bits needed etc....
Cupra R still 16" wheels are'nt they?

I was under the impression the Cupra R had larger 17" OZ F1 wheels on it..

The 4 pots on the R are made by Brembo aren't they?

the AP's are well expensive, good I expect but way too much. I would find out from your delaership how much the cupra r brakeset is and if they will fit onto the standard cupra.

*puts his braincell back in*

I stand corrected by myself before anyone else corrects me..

205/45/ZR16's (7J) on the Cupra R.. OZ F1's specialised for SEAT.

I was indeed correct with the 305mm (front) air cooled Brembo 4 pots on the car.
Rears are 232mm discs.

Just thought I would clear up what I had said.. :)

305mm disk on a 16" wheel.. Thats interesting.
What size disks are on Leon cupras?
Are these 305's the TT disks perhaps?

Just wondering about the VAG parts bin again :D

Or maybe Golf V6 4 motion?

They might not fit under normal Cupra 16s though - the OZ SuperTs might have more clearance inside for the calipers (maybe thats the "modified for Seat" bit, unless they just changed the offset slightly)
