have you looked at induction kits for any of the other cars with the 1.8 20VT? Look at Golf kits. There is bound to be someone who makes tunning parts for the Golf GTI or even the Audi TT.

The airbox wil be similar if not the same as Golf IV and or TT.

BMC CDA induction kit is available for those cars.
(Carbon Dynamic Airbox which is basically a twin cone filter housed in a carbon fibre housing with big cold air feed pipe)

I got on e of these first for my beezer but its too large for the small beezer engine bay. Should fit Leon/Golf fine.

I'm assuming these don't cause problems with the MAF?

Most of the problems stemmed from oil contamination when oiling the filters. Don't know anything about this BMC piece of kit though.

You might get a feel for the BMC form browsing VWVortex forum, as I know a while back there was a lot of people trying them and being very happy at that time. Maybe now some months have gone on, the MAF issue IF any, might have got mentioned.

I doubt it would be a problem with a BMC myself.
