Has anyone had any experience with this? is it worth the discount you get from their standard policies?
It cuts my policy down from £571 (Tesco standard)to £400(Tesco Value), the excess is £250 more though.
anyway, i searched the forum but couldnt find anything relating to this.
cheers

It all depends whether you have a claim or not. No Claim and the discount is worth it, If you have a claim, the discount you took, you give back in the form of the excess ( and then some ) its a gamble .

yeah im trying to weigh it up just now. It also says that if there is an "incident" the car will only be fixed by "approved traders" or something, which i am assuming to be the cheapest bodyshops/mechanics they can find.

I spoke to tesco about thier value insurance its not worth it tbh. If you crash and it goes to court they dont pay any legal fees or help you in any way plus you lose out on a curtosy car. In the end isnt it worth it to pay that little extra £100??
