In a startling display of stupidity......the Leon should get an oil change after the first 1000 miles....yeah?

TDI 110 if it makes any difference.......

Cheers!

I don't know mik. But I would change it as often as you can afford to. You will be amazed how much longer an engine will last with regular and frequent oil changes.

I used to have an Alfa Romeo 75 from new, I religously changed the oil every 5k, when the car finally gave up (due to rust) the engine had covered 235k miles without a rebuild. Some guy bought the engine of me cause it was such a nice runner, and it now powers a racing car in the Alfa Romeo Owners Club Championship...i think it's probably been rebuilt by now!! but the bottom end was in such good nick with very little wear....

Completely O/T, but are you the same mik who posts over at the Evo forums (judging by the phenomenal use of fullstops, I reckon yes ;))? Just being nosy really. :)

I most certainly am! :)

And also on Scoobynet....mostly in the Muppet Forum though

You've noticed that I use loads of full stops......yeah....I've noticed that too when I read back my own posts.......no idea why I do it though! :p

I've handed in my notice at work, and don't start my new job for a couple of weeks........hence I'm a little more "active" on each of these forums during the day than I have been........ ;) I'll soon be lucky to get a chance to post at all.....so I'm makin the most of it while I can
