For interest, if you log onto the Volkswagen.de website you can see they have released a TDi 130 version of the Sharan....
Tope speed increases to 188km/h (117mph), with around 12 seconds 0-100km/h (approx 11.5 to 60mph)...
Wonder if SEAT and Ford will get this engine too!!!!

Really??? Where did you hear this, I looked and couldn't find it..... thats good news, wonder if the Ford Galaxy gets the same treatment too???

Where did I hear?......Lets just say me Satin Silver Tdi 130 SE demo is on order for February delivery.
Now shall I have the PS2 and drop down TV's interfaced to the SatNav screen up front or not?

I see your point, but he who sells has no choice, he who buys can choose between VW, SEAT and Ford!!!!:D
I like the Alahmbra very much, but my dad's Galaxy has a much better build quality than 2 2000>MY Alhambra's I know of....
...of course, his reason for buying a Ford over the Seat is that the Alhambra V6 Sport is not available with Auto gearbox, otherwise he would have bought one seeing the £2500 price advantage over a Galaxy 2.8 Ghia....

I spoke to my local dealer on Saturday and the 130BHP diesel is due out v. soon - they expect to get their demo by the end of this month. I think I have finally talked my husband into swapping his Octavia Estate in for an Alhambra.
I didn't know about the telly/PS2 option though. Hmmmm!

Alhambra 130pd now released. Spent last week working on the tuning for this. Tuning is still in progress but should be completed by the month end so power figures will be given then.
Sharan and Galaxy will have the same engine available as well.
