hi, im 21, and looking to get a cupra R, however been told by a few companys now that i gotta be 25 or over? does any 1 know which insurance company could give me a quote for a 21 yr old? plz help cheers.

im 20 and iv got an lcr, im with elephant, 1 years no claim and 3 points and i payed £1500, if ya got family ie mum, dad who have got loads of years no claims and driving experience just add them as additional drivers whether there gonna drive it or not, drops it quite a bit! i had a pug gti180 with them which is also group 17! when i was 18, give it ago on their online quote thing

£1500!!! wow that is some premium. I can't really justify paying that kind of money on insurance on any car for a year.
yeh it is a lot of money, but its worth it, especially when i c blokes who look about 25 still racing around in saxos with bad boy exhausts!!!
my pug was £1800! at the time, cool me stupid i know, nice car though, surprisingly quick:-)
Elephant, Greenlight and Sky Insurance are all worth a call.

Elephant looked after me this year with my Octy vRS
Me and mrs both 23 with all mods declared and 4 years NCB £906.
The nearest price was well over £1200 else where

Would'nt really say thats alot these days, mines £1200, got mates that pay a lot more than £1500. Its the price you pay if your young and want a fast car.
Im 24 with 1 years NCB and my insurance is £780 with Elephant.co.uk. You will be paying through the nose until you hit 25 and have a good few years NCBs behind you.
Also try Bell.co.uk, they were pretty close to that quote for me too.

Good luck mate i'm 31, have over 10years NCB and am paying just over £500 from admiral.
Tesco online quoted me £980 (21 with 1 year no claims) :)

when i got mine at 21 i was paying £900 fully comp with direct line. Its now £800 with green light with all mods declared!
