not had chance to have a look yet but how/where does the bugger fit?all it is is a straight peice of bar with cup on the ends,i presume it just bolts onto the subframe somewhere using the oe bolts.
is it a jack up job or will it go on by just removing my front bumper(this is easy to do on mine).
any info or guidance well recieved:cheers:

jack up onto axle stands - remove front bumper (so you can move)

undo ends of wishbones I guess - then bolt on.

wouldn't mind coming over to help if you have a driveway now?

The pivot bolts for the front wishbones is the usual pick up point for a front lower strut brace Jase. Certainly on the Golf it was far easier job to do with car on the ground as you didn't have all the unsprung weight hanging about on the end of an unsecured wishbone...

If you just asked 'are the wishbone pick up points in the same place' then the answer is yes

if you want to double check - measure the distance centre to centre & I'll do the same when I get home.

Sounds interesting , do you think it will make much of a difference ??

well, you can argue that with a hulking great subframe there already it won't stiffen it up much more. but like edc said, that extra little bit.....

I had a lower strut brace on an '84 scirocco and it made tons (I really mean tons) of a difference. I would surely think that VAG has more than updated the front suspension design, but it should still make a difference.
I was wondering if the Neuspeed one would fit my toledo?? The Neuspeed one looks the tits.

like i said - subframe on new cars, none on older ones
