HELLO PPL,
THIS MIGHT SOUND STUPID, BUT I CAN'T FIND MY ENGINE CODE ANYWHERE.
I'M TRYING TO ORDER TO ORDER SOME PARTS AND THEY ARE ASKING FOR AN ENGINE CODE.
ANYONE KNOW WHERE IT IS LOCATED????????

What car and engine size to start with?

SEAT IBIZA
ENGINE SIZE 1400 INJECTION
EARLY 1996 MODEL.

It's on the left-hand end of the cylinder block. Yours should be one of: AEX, APQ, ABD. Or just ring your dealer.

Might also be under the floormat in the spare wheel well.

The sticker from the boot floor is often duplicated on the inside front cover of the service book if you have it. The engine number will also be on the V5 (DVLA registration document).
Checking either of these possibilities generally doesn't even involve getting your hands dirty...
