sway bars = anti roll bars

Had the short shift in the golf. It was "the tits". Definitely worth the price. Wish they had one for the 6spd.

edc, be careful - you have the 16v & I'm very very sure your 'box is cable change & you can't have a short shift

Neuspeed does make a cable short shifter.

so do B&M. I contacted autotechnik about it ages ago but they hadn't got round to doing an Ibiza yet.

Beware of a short shift making the change too snicky.... (if thats even a word) Notchy might be a better word.

I have seen the B&M shifter and its OK, lump of turned ally knob (cold to touch in winter - Brrrr)

I like me beezer change as it is personally.

IMHO it did'nt suit the Passat which it was fitted to. (way short stumpy thing and awkward to find gears at times, particularly reverse)

I've had 2 Neuspeed short shifters:

1 in an '84 scirocco (felt a bit notchy at 1st, but after bushing change no problem).
1 in an '96 golf (no problems what-so-ever).

let's hope the neuspeed will be a similar price to the B&M - i think it will be a bit more somehow.

They have now.

Like bill says the current cupra change is quite nice.

Dan's box isn't cable change mate - the 2.0 16v is different to the 1.8 16v

yeah, jason has a rod change shortshift fitted by auto-t. i volunteered my car as a guinea pig but nothing seems to have come to fruition from it yet. haven't found an outfit who's fitted to an 02a box.

I've been told by Neuspeed in the US that Awesomegti are the only UK distributors.

1.awessome are neusped dist
2.my short shift is rod change, not cable
3.works a treat on mine though martyn had some probs(mind ge's had g/box probs before he fitted it
4.predict neuspeed being the same as b&m just different quality,i'd put alittle hat on the b&m,as bill says cold in the winter:D
