When going up or down the gears, I'm having difficulty selecting 2nd. When it does select it sometimes crunches or feels really notchy.
I'll be mentioning it when it goes for it's service in Feb, but do you think it's anything to get worried about?

The V5 gearbox is not the smoothest beast I have ever operated !
When I first got my V5 it was near on impossible to select first gear, and second was a gamble. There is a linkage on the side of the gearbox which adjusts the side to side throw of the gear lever when in neutral.
Try this : when wanting to select 2nd gear push the gear lever over to the left as hard as you can. If you find it drops in gear easier like this then you need to adjust (or get the linkage adjusted).
It a p**s easy adjustment to make with a 10mm spanner. Just get someone to move the gear lever side to side in neutral an you will see the linkage moving. (or arse around with a piece of string tied to the gear stick if doing it on your own :) )
It will be obvious which way you need to adjust when you see it.
