I've got a tow bar to fit to my 2000 X reg Alhambra but the rear bumper needs to come off. This wouldn't be a problem if my copy of Elsawin was still working:confused: , but it's not. Has anyone got any tips/advice on how to get the bumper off without breaking any clips or other bits?
there are a couple of fixings in each rear wheel arch, these are behind the wheel arch liner IIRC? so you may have to undoand partially remove that to get at the bumper fixings?
then there are a couple more hidden behind covers under the rear lights! and finally there are a couple more nuts under neath on the towing eye mount
with all these undone pull the bumper out of the arches and roll the bottom edge upwards and in theory it should come off! but remember to unplug the reversing sensors first!
