View Full Version : VAG-COM near Bromley, Kent?

Last night my car completely died on me...started juddering, revs dropped below 1000, no responce from the accelerator at all and the engine and EPC lights came on :cry:
Sounds as if it fireing on only 2 or 3 cylinders too.
The car will start but the revs are not stable...its hunts from around 500-1500 and if i put my foot flat on the accelerator nothing happens :(

I know its a bit cheeky but would anyyone be able to come to me to check the car out? I am really desparate as the car is completely undrivable :(

The only problem is that the car wont move...i just havent got any control over the accelerator....it happened to me on a mini roundabout and i just stopped in the middle of it....started it back up and had to literally 'bunny hop' off the roundabout and onto a pavement.

My trailor is being used atm too so i can even tow it to the meet lol :(

That would probably be in Sidcup :(

I think theyd charge an arm and a leg if i asked them to come to me and bring a diagnostics machine over and check out the car.

Its ok...lol ill somehow find a way of fixing it....rang up SEAT at Sidcup and they tried to tell me that they think that the valve timing was messed up and that i needed a new head....ahhh how i hate stealers!
