does "ram air efect" has any effect to engine power and ram air devices has any sense?
air density can be calculated by a simple equation:
ρ=ρ0+v^2*ρ0/(2*c^2)
where:
ρ = ram air density (kg/m3)
ρ0 = normal air density (1,23kg/m3)
v=velocity (m/s)
c=speed of sound (m/s)
so at 200mph there wouldn't be any change!
