Right then ladies and gentlemen, for some reason both Shaun and Simon have gone a little crazy and have asked me to tell you lovely people that we are offering 20% discount off all our AmD remaps for SEAT Leon Cupra's.
Prices are as listed below,
Leon Cupra R - Including 20% discount £359.95 (inc.VAT)
Leon and Ibiza Cupra's - Including 20% discount £319.95 (inc.VAT)
These prices are only available throughout June and these prices will only be given if this offer is mentioned.

Hi mate, other than the price, can you tell me the difference between the AmD re-map and the Revo re-map? As i see you do both/

Our AmD remap is non-switchable whereas the Revo Technik remap offers switchability. To make the Revo code switchable you must buy an SPS or Select switch so you can switch between performance and standard settings.
The power delivery characteristics are very similar.

It depends on what car it is really, if you take a look on this link AmD remaping (http://www.amdtechnik.com/products.bymodel.cfm?modelid=26) you should be able to find the information you are after.

Jay, I have a straight through exhaust. Can a stage two AMD remap be done on my car?
When you say the power delivery is very similar to Revo... how true is that? Is it the same as Revo where you get a hefty surge and kick in the midrange and it then tails off.... or is it like Custom Code which is more progressive and less aggressive.

We can create a custom map so that the ecu can utilise there being no cat. If you want to speak to someone specifically about what we can do for you, call us on 01708 861827 and ask for Simon.

The initial kick at the bottom end is not so aggresive compared to the Revo the power kicks in mid-range giving the car power that is a lot more useable.

So does that mean peak power is near enough the same or is the AmD map running less boost?
Do you have any graphs of the power curve befor and after an AmD map?

Peak power on both the AmD and Revo maps are roughly the same but our AmD map is a smoother more progressive map.
No power graphs are stored on my pc so I am trying to get them sorted out so you can take a look.

We can adjust some of the settings and tables in our own AmD maps to give you more torque which the uprated clutch will be able to cope with. Is your car already remapped?

Yes we can extend this to all Leons.
Normally this map would be £449 (inc.VAT) but with the 20% discount you would be paying £359.20 (inc.VAT) for an increase from the 140bhp up to 185bhp and an increase to 300ft.lb torque.

Thanks for the info Jay, just one more question and I'll leave you in peace... ;)
Will my standard clutch be able to handle the increased torque ? Or will I be looking at replacing that shortly after the remap ? :cry:

Apologies for the delayed reply, please check my posts for the reason.
No problem at all on the info! Standard clutch's are able to handle the extra power but if the clutch is fairly old/had some abuse, it will be more likely to need replacing sooner with the new power you will have.

Stopped by today and had my ECU read for the upgrade. Booked in on Sat for the remap itself.
Should also be getting some wheel spacers on the rears as well. ;)

Slight delay in my reply! You will enjoy the difference between your car now and when it has the remap installed, its definately a good improvement!
