View Full Version : Price
Hi, I've had a good read through the forum plus the testimonials on your own website and it certainly seems that the customers have been happy with their maps.
I have an Altea 2.0tdi with the DSG gearbox, I'd like a price for a remap and wonder if you have work on cars with this gearbox before. I have been unable to get a definintive answer on how this box handles the increased torque from mapping, thanks.
One more bump for a quote then I'll give up.

Hi There
Sorry for the delay, I dont get an e-mail when a new thread is started.
The P-Torque re-map for your Altea is £350 all in.
We increase torque by +60NM on the DSG models. This is perfectly safe, and give superb increases with strong delivery.
Best Regards
Will
Thank you for that, the price is ok and the torque sounds a good but safe increase, I guess the hp will be around the 180 mark ?
Do you have details of a customer with the DSG who has had it done that I may contact, VW or Audi would be ok since they are all basically the same.
Thanks in anticipation.

Hi There
We have tuned alot of these, some for local specialists
Finding a previous DSG customer isn't a problem, but it may be hard getting them to call/sign on the forum as proof :(
Put it this way, we had developed a safe and good result re-map for the 170tdi PD 2 months ago, even now some companies are not tuning these. We put alot of research and development into our mapping
Correct, 180bhp is the approx figure acheived after mapping.;)
Ok, thats super, now to find a method of hiding the spend from my wife, I shall be in touch to arrange an appointment.
Thanks again

If I had a pound for every customer that had to hide this from his wife I would be a rich man
I actually got put on the phone to a customer wife once, and had to explain how I was a technician doing a diagnostics, not tuning
Like all men I am a coward at heart, she's a clever one though so a new credit card registerd at work may be in order.
It can go with the sim card registered at work but that's a whole other story...
