Hi Keith White here. I notice there seem to be no sign of any Seat Terra Kombi. The Kombi is a car derivitive of the Terra, and was not officially imported into this country, mine being imported recently, and owned from 2 years old. Are there any other Terra Kombi owners out there to maybe set up a group or forum within the club. I know of one other in my next village in Sapcote Leics, I living in Stoney Stanton. That car is converted for Wheelchair transport.
Being a post VW takeover car it is fitted with the 1.4 Polo Diesel engine, and livened up with 5.5j alloys and 55 section tyres so handles well. 1.9 meter high means handy for large bits, and panoramic windows to see out. Height means also easily found in car parks! Any Owners please contact me on 077733 29424 or keith@keithwhite.uk.com Thanks
Hi Keith
Glad you found it alright
It's taken me a little while - but I'm gueesing that it's an Inca varient?

No, Mark, the Terra was based on the Marbella, which in turn was based on the SEAT/FIAT Panda.
Originally SEAT made Fiats, one of the last to be produced was the SEAT Panda which was the Fiat except it was made in Spain and had SEAT badges, shortly afterwards FIAT and SEAT parted after FIAT backtracked on an agreement*. Part of the deal for not taking FIAT to court was that SEAT could continue producing Panda (and other variants), but only if they changed some of the styling,,,so the Marbella was born. The Terra was the Van version was sold in the UK.
A company in Newbury which is an off shoot of Gowrings produce many of the wheelchair vehicles called "chairman" and although I dont know if they did a Terra version, they do the Inca one as they come from Husseys.
* keep an eye on the main site for a History article on SEAT which will go into detail on SEAT's past.

Do they do an "R" version?
Scott
you could fit a 348bhp 20VT with a couple of days work...
think that'd show your car a clean pair of heels :)
and there'd be room for a matress in the back.

LOL! That might come in handy with such a babe magnet for a vehicle. ;)

My mate used to run an Astra diesel van his dad gave him when we were at school with a mattress in the back :D
The shocks didn't go first, he blew up the engine.

Boy, that takes me back to my NSVA Customised Van days when I ran a Bedford CF, with blue fur interior and mirrors on the inside roof. And the Mattress inside! Kinky or what!!
Whatever happened to Customised Street Vans? Even father had a Customised and jacked Fiat 850T Van, with murals and Starsky and Hutch like black and white paintwork and portholes. Only it was a bit smaller and had to sleep on the roof of that on its safari roof. A lay-by on the A5 in Anglesey is not the best place for a good nights sleep!!! Happy Days!!!
And thinking about it, is this van thing with me Genetic??
