eeek!! :(

My 20k service just before christmas was £129 from SERE in Lisburn. Would like to think that there not much difference on a service between a Toledo and a Leon with same engine.

I've got the full receipt in the car but from memory

£93 - labour
£22 - oil

the rest was made up of oil and fuel filters, flushes, screen wash, sump bung and hose clips

I assume mine was a 20k annual service as my last 10k was doen approx 6 months ago - it cost £119

Think my 10k was £105? (that was bout a year ago tho i suppose)

I mite phone around a few garages and compare prices when my next service due just to see how much difference there is between them.

Let me know how you go for reference.

BTW, my Toledo is an import so its out of warranty next January 2004.

Do you know of any good independant VAG service specialists ?

Cheers

Iv always just went to SERE in Lisburn, they mainly deal in Seats. When i bought the car there they had a couple of import 1.6's for sale, so i presume they wont be picky over import cars like some garages.

I havent needed much work done to the car so far luckly but i did get the door seals replaced with no problem, and they done a good job.

Lisburn probably isnt that handy for you tho unfortunatly.

Yea they will give you a courtesy car but you have to book it a couple of weeks in advance to make sure you get one.

There is also a SERE garage on the Boucher Road in Belfast that mite be a bit handier for you. they mainly deal in Seat's and Mazda's and they do courtesy cars as well as far as i know.

£177 for a 10 k service, and £93 for a 5k oil change in mine..... I can feel my barclaycard starting to sweat already as I get near 15k......:(
