View Full Version : Suspension Kits for Leon
Anyone had experience with suspension kits on Leon Cupra's. I want to reduce the amount of understeer and generally tighten everything up without ruining the ride quality.

MY 2002 Cupra
Imperial blue
Alu' dash trim
Front armrest
Forge valve
Upsolute chip (by the 10th Nov)
Thats what I am planning too, but I havent found a kit that is within a good budget that will not drop the body too much (my TDi is always bottoming out the bumper and sub frame), and I dont want to effect ride too much.......
My ideal would be harder front springs and up-rated shocks all round as its the lack of damping on the front that I find a problem in terms of handlng.

Andy, I noted that you have the Alu style Dash trim fitted to your car, where did you get it, and how much was it?
Thanks,
King Cupra
There is a Leon suspension kit (and some funky wheels incidentally) on the Oettinger forum.

This is the English (language) version and states "in preparation". I think this means the details are "in preparation" 'cos there is info in the german web version....I just don't speak german.....but babelfish does! Can't look at Bablefish at the moment 'cos work firewall has started locking us out of translators.....not entirely sure why....something to do with "anonymisers".

Dash trim was ordered from Sidlow Seat - it's an official Seat accessory, they also do a carbon look finish. I think cost was about £80, they fitted it f.o.c. Kit includes the vents at each end of the dash, the centre console around the stereo and climate control and the tray around the gearlever, it really breaks up the blackness of the dash.
