I have a nice little Alhambra. Its alarm kept going off today for no reason. I looked at the alarm/central locking box to find it was half way to being covered in water. I drained out the hole with a sponge taking about 2 litres of water out. I dried the box with a hairdryer to the best of my ability but the central locking isn't working nor is the alarm anymore. I can kind of live with those not working for a while but the central locking also can open the windows. This means that they will open in the middle of a car park with me no where near it in the rain (as it did this afternoon, and with no alarm it concerns me).
thinking I need a new control box I searched eBay to find this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=014&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=330137399876&rd=1&rd=1). Does anyone here know what this does or is?

Is it repairable or do I need to buy a new module?

Cheers people.

join this forum too - I'm in both - and search for dealing with this common problem

I don't know, don't have the problem but if there's advice to be had, you'll get it for free from this forum. Once you've joined, just search using a variety of terms. Their search tool is more eccentric than Google and the people who contribute are very friendly and helpful
