View Full Version : Goodridge braided hoses for Ibiza
Anyone know the relevant part number for the 2.0 16v Ibiza Cupra? I don't trust these websites which regulalry list incorrect numbers.
Best price I've found so far is £69.00, I'm sure it can be found cheaper than this, anyone??

What hoses are you after?
Fronts and rears?

A whole kit for front and rear, was looking at Goodridge braided steel hoses, but any like kit will work. I'm geting pads this weekend, and will get front discs next week so might as well change fluid and hoses at the same time. I was going to wait till summer but the noise from the EBC backing plates is too much!!
goodridges site was ok for numbers when i checked mine ed,cross referenced it with ripspeed when ordering.

If the hoses can wait a month or two, it might be worth holding on until the show season kicks off. Plenty traders selling them cheaper than £69 at Inters last year, going rate seemed to be about £35 for a 4 line kit and £50 for a 6 line kit from memory. Ibiza will be 6 line kit.

If your kit is the same as a 16v Golf type kit then give Autotechnik a call on 02380 ******.
They do their own braided hose kits.
20VT kits are difficult and expensive tho as the rears are solid, swaged to flexi hoses, so a whole new section has to be made to go to braided hoses. They did such a kit tho and its all jigged up to supply.
Fronts are easy, as are over beam ones. Rears if seperate will also be simple.
Worth a call.

Cheers chaps, will explore all suggestions. I might as well fit it now since the rest of the brakes are being done. The EBC pads are shot and the discs, still have life, but I have money for an upgrade - shame it's coming out of my suspension slush fund.
edc as bill say try allen and vanessa at auto T ,if they make em they will be as good as goodridge they made me some custom leads as i was getting no joy and bad prices from SEAT,can't fault em on price and service,25 quid for pagid pads too,maybe more for the 280mm ones though;)
