Just fitted one of these to my leon, and bugger me if it hasnt made it quieter. I realise its a recirculating valve but i thought i would have at least got a bit more noise. All i get now is a bit of turbo whistle, even my old standard bosch one used to give a bit of a chirp when you booted it.
Does anyone else with the same one have the same thing, there was no model number on the box so it could be the wrong one i suppose, its a bit bigger than standard and shiny alloy all the standard fixings fitted on so it cant be that different.

It definately picks up better, smoother through gear changes, the boost comes in sooner after the change. The car runs really smoothly but theres just no noise at all.
ohh well

Cool, how long did it take you to remove those clips from the pipes ?

The clips are a bit of a git to do. Replaced the two main ones with jubilee clips but i left the small one on the top.
Looks good but no sound at all.

The DV007P is'nt a noisy add-on.
Combined with an induction kit it is the noiser woosh than a regular Bosch one especially when chipped.
quiet is normal.

Whilst on the dump valve subject. Is there one out there that'll fit in a TDi 130 ?

Not as far as I know.

Speaking of whooshes.
I fitted a 007P to mine just after Alconbury last year.
If anything, it's a lot louder than the standard Bosch unit.
The car is totally standard and I can hear the whoosh every time I touch and release the accelerator at low revs. Admittedly it is very quiet ie, turn stereo off, close windows etc but it is easily audible. This whoosh has only happened since I changed the units over. All I can suggest is that you apply full acceleration at around 1800rpm or so and release at about 2000-2200rpm otherwise engine noise drowns it out. it was quite funny when I first noticed it, as I then spent the rest of the day driving under 2000rpm, just so I could hear it. Novelty's worn off now and I'm back to redlining it:D

Let us know how it performs against the standard Bosch please Tim, I'm half interested in buying one.

I can guarentee it's miles better. Quick responce, instant power after gear changes and smooth. Over 14K miles with mine and still superb, worth every penny IMO.

Willdo, although the main reason for changing will be reliability issues - esp when i'm pushing the engine via chipping.
I'm kinda drawn to the jabba option right now - it's engine specific, and cheaper than revo (both are in range of where i live) - and i'm declaring it on my insurance anyway. The toy arrived today so i'll be onto bensaud to fit it 2nite with luck :)

Lost his job (WorldCom) and so he's not on the net as much :(
I will be in the same position soon, the way things are looking.
Yo Dudes
I am still alive.....Just spend all my net time applying for jobs, the one I have at the moment has no net access, and that is not good ;) , so the search is still on.
